Frequently Asked Questions

Real answers to the questions our customers ask before buying, and the ones they're thinking but haven't asked yet.

I've tried lumbar pillows before and they all failed. How is PostureCloud different?
Most pillows fail for three reasons: too thick (pushes you forward), too hot (foam heats up in 30 minutes), or goes flat within weeks. PostureCloud's 4.3-inch slim profile fills the gap without shoving you forward. The mesh cover keeps airflow going so it stays cool. And the slow-rebound foam actually holds its shape. If your last pillow failed, it was probably one of those three. This one solves all of them.
Will it push me forward in my chair? My last pillow did that.
That happens when the pillow is too thick. At 4.3 inches, PostureCloud sits inside your chair's curve instead of on top of it. Some competitors are 5.8 inches thick, nearly 35% more. You should still be able to lean back with your shoulders against the backrest.
Does the foam actually last, or will it go flat in a month?
Cheap pillows use low-density filler that flattens fast. PostureCloud uses slow-rebound memory foam you can press and watch slowly spring back. That rebound is how you know the density is high enough to last. We back it with a 60-day guarantee because we know it holds up.
Won't memory foam get hot and sweaty?
Regular foam pillows without ventilation heat up in about 30 minutes. PostureCloud's 4D mesh cover creates airflow channels between your back and the foam so it stays cool. The cover is also removable and machine-washable.
How firm is it?
Medium-firm. It gives under pressure and slowly rebounds instead of springing back. Not a hard block, not a mushy pillow. It contours to your lower back and holds there. The foam softens slightly over the first few days as it breaks in.
Will it work on my specific chair?
It works on pretty much any seat with a back: office chairs, mesh chairs, gaming chairs, car seats, truck seats, recliners, dining chairs, and airplane seats. The real question is whether there's a gap between your lower back and the seat. If there is, this fills it.
I work from home on a dining chair. Will this help?
Dining chairs and couches have zero lumbar support by design, which is why over 40% of remote workers report worse back pain since working from home. PostureCloud gives your makeshift setup the support it's missing. Use it at your desk during work, move it to the couch at night.
I already have a nice ergonomic chair. Do I need this?
Even Herman Miller owners say their back hurts after enough hours. If your chair's built-in lumbar support doesn't match your specific curve, there's still a gap. PostureCloud fills that gap. Think of it as a complement: the chair handles posture, the pillow handles your curve.
My back pain is pretty serious. Can a pillow fix that?
PostureCloud is not a medical device. It won't treat sciatica or herniated discs. What it does is support your lower back during the 8+ hours you spend sitting each day, which reduces the strain your muscles take on. For serious pain, see a doctor. But many customers use this between appointments to hold onto the relief they get there.
Is it safe during pregnancy?
Many customers use it throughout pregnancy, especially those still working at a desk. It provides gentle lumbar support without putting any pressure on the abdomen. That said, check with your doctor first.
$50 for a pillow?
One chiropractor visit costs $60 to $150. A standing desk runs $200 to $400. A Herman Miller is $1,500. PostureCloud costs less than a single copay, and you can use it in every seat you own. If it saves you even one chiropractor visit this year, it's already paid for itself. And if you disagree, the 60-day guarantee gets you a full refund.
What if it doesn't work for me?
Send it back. 60-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Try it at your desk for a week. Try it in your car. If it doesn't help, you get a full refund. We'd rather you try it risk-free than keep sitting in pain because you're worried about wasting money again.
How long does shipping take?
Orders ship in 1 to 3 business days. Delivery is typically 5 to 10 business days depending on location. Free shipping on every order, no minimum, no surprise fees. You'll get a tracking number by email once it ships.
Is PlumPlush a real company?
Yes. We're not a faceless Amazon listing with fake reviews. We make one product and stand behind it with a 60-day guarantee, real customer support, and honest specs. Every claim on our page is something we can demonstrate on camera.
How do I position it?
Place the thickest part at your beltline, right where your lower back curves inward. Sit back so your shoulders touch the chair. You should feel it pressing gently into your lower back curve. If it feels like it's pushing you forward, slide it down an inch. Getting the height right makes all the difference.
How do I clean it?
Unzip the mesh cover and machine wash it on gentle with cold water. Air dry or tumble dry on low. Don't wash the foam insert. Spot-clean it with a damp cloth if needed.
Can I use it in my car and at my desk?
Yes. It fits both office chairs and car seats. A lot of customers buy two so they don't have to move it back and forth. We offer bundle pricing for that reason: one for your desk, one for your drive.
